Washington State offers two ways to apply to become a notary public:
Option 1: Apply Online.
1. Submit your Notary Public Commission Application, a copy of your notarized Oath of Office form, and a copy of your signed $10,000 Washington notary bond.
2. Pay the $75 fee.
Option 2: Apply By Mail.
1. Complete the Washington Notary Public Commission Application.
2. Send your application with a copy of your signed $10,000 Washington notary bond, and a copy of your notarized Oath of Office form.
3. Pay the $75 fee.
